When meeting Brandon, he said he was interested in doing a shoot that showcased contemporary dance as well as portrait work in an urban setting. When we first started Brandon asked “how would you like me to pose?” I told him to just be himself and that I would capture it. 40 minutes later we finished and his story was captured. I think Brandon is the most natural subject I have ever worked with. Extremely comfortable in front of the camera, and very personable. NYC, a city that truly never sleeps
During the last weekend in March I had the opportunity to travel to NYC with my partner in crime and take in all New York had to offer. Instead of portraits, I focused on city scapes and just shooting all that we came across. Aside from taking pictures, eating all of the great food NYC has to offer, and taking in the sites, I was able to reconnect with an old friend and mentor, Alex Corporan. The weekend flew by way too fast and I’m already dying to go back. Here are a few shots from the trip.
Pretty Sure Love Is In The Air
Last weekend I took a drive to San Jose and captured some intimate moments with Danielle and Nathan in their home. I don’t think I’ve ever come across a couple so eager to show their affection and emotion for one another. To call it infectious would be an understatement.
SF Sneaker Head Shoot
I had the opportunity to walk the streets of downtown SF with this cool couple. Mel & Bryan wanted to keep the shoot sites spontaneous. From rooftops to trolley lines we shot everywhere. And since the two of them are avid shoe collectors and wore matching shoes, their kicks received portraits as well.
2019 Travel Schedule
