A Little Bit About Myself

Hey there, my name is Frank. I’ve been into photography for a long time now. During the mid 80’s and early 90’s I was heavily into skateboarding, and at the time we used photography to visually illustrate the growth of the sport and the progression of tricks and associated styles. Fast forward to the early 2000’s I began to fall in love with landscape and architectural photography, a medium I still enjoy today.

As my children grew up I found myself documenting their high school and college years through photo. It wasn’t until my son asked me to take his engagement photos that I truly fell in love with portraits. There was something about photographing the love and emotion between two people that pulled me in. I’m not sure what it was, but I became obsessed in telling a couple’s story through photo. This medium has reignited my passion for photography.

I like to think of myself as a storyteller. I tell stories through visuals. Capturing a couples raw emotion, overwhelming passion and the fun and laughter that brings those together is what I look for. Tattoos are also something I love to showcase in my work. They tell different stories of things that have happened in our lives. The artwork we wear on a daily basis, for those of us that have them, are key pieces that can bring extra dimension and depth to a portrait. Whether the photos are intimate and in your home, or out in nature, your uniqueness and personality will endure and this will be something to keep forever. Aside from photography, I love to travel, eat sushi, work on my cars, collect shoes, listen to vinyl and drink coffee. I am located in San Francisco, California but I am willing to travel anywhere you may need me. See you soon.
